This family retreat is a 40,000 square foot compound with living areas both within the buildings and outside. We provided lighting design both inside and out, including pools, waterfall and landscape. The challenges were termites, earthquakes, and hurricanes.

Interior: Apsara and Ofdesign-NYC

10,000 sq. ft. turn of the 20th century townhouse in Manhattan. We worked on this family house over two decades of renovation providing interior design, custom furniture and lighting as the family grew and utilized more and more of the original house. Happily, many of the early 20th century furnishings that we initially acquired, scrolled forward with the renovations.

This East Hampton residence was transformed from the hollow shell of an early 19th century barn/warehouse. We provided interior architecture, interior and lighting design, and furnishings. We designed the pool and patios, as well as a new 2500 sq. ft. timber frame barn to replace an outbuilding on the site that was near collapse.

As fountains, mosaics, sculpture, and pavilions are restored, we continue to illuminate them.

We illuminate art collections, whether inside or in the landscape. We carefully consider how to make your collection look its best as well as how to protect it.

We provided lighting design for restored interior by Eberlein Design.

This sailing yacht was recently built in South Africa for our client. We collaborated with a talented team of naval architects from San Diego and cabin designers from the UK, providing all lighting design.

We provided lighting design for this brownstone renovation that joined the parlor and garden level floors to create one expanded duplex. Our team enhanced the feeling of light in formerly dark spaces and made sure that the scheme was child friendly. The architects, AM/MOR Architecture, LLP used frosted glass panels to bring daylight into interior spaces.  

To accommodate an expanding art collection of sculpture, we renovated the house, adding a two story extension as a master bath and gym, provided furnishings, as well as lighting the art collection (both within the residence and in the landscape), ponds, and pools.
